2018 Portends Good Things for Nissan—Check Out Some 2018 Model-Year Highlights to Anticipate

October 24th, 2017 by

While we’re all still living in 2017, the Nissan brand (and the rest of the automotive market) is already on to the 2018 model-year! Here at Gerald Nissan of Naperville, we wanted to share some of the 2018 model-year highlights coming our way—check ’em out!

  1. Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB): Nissan is making safety easier for its seven core flagship models by adding standard Autonomous Emergency Braking for the 2018 model year. It will be standard on the 2018 Nissan Rogue, Rogue Sport, Murano, LEAF, Altima, Pathfinder, Sentra, Maxima, and select Armada models.
  2. 2018 Nissan LEAF®: The 2018 Nissan LEAF® has come into sharper focus, arriving with updated styling—but looks aren’t the only thing that get better for 2018. The 2018 Nissan LEAF has also grown its range by about 40 miles, to 150 miles on a single battery charge. Say sayonara to range anxiety!
  3. 2018 Nissan Maxima Redesign: The 2018 Nissan LEAF® wasn’t the only Nissan model to receive some love for the 2018 model year; the longtime favorite Nissan Maxima also got some generous updates, including improved power in the form of a new engine (a standard 3.5-liter V6 rated at 300 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque); advanced technology like NissanConnect™, Push-Button Start, and Nissan Intelligent Key; Interior updates to make the 2018 Maxima more sophisticated and luxurious; and exterior updates that make the 2018 Maxima more spacious for passengers and more compelling for onlookers.

We can already tell 2018 is going to be a big year for the Nissan brand, so whether you’re considering going green with the outstanding and improved 2018 Nissan LEAF® or you’re looking for something more traditional like the Nissan Maxima, the 2018 Nissan Lineup is packed with power, features, and tons of standard safety equipment. Want to get some hands-on experience? Join us here in our Naperville showroom and meet the faces and fascias of the Nissan lineup for yourself!
